About this deal
ESP32-C3 Ultra Low Power. Single core. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE. 16 GPIOs. Not as powerful as the S-Variants (e.g. the ESP32-S3).
However decided to replace all instances of rtc_gpio_desc with rtc_io_desc in file OneWire _direct_gpio.h & compile failed but with different errors…According to Adafruit, a resistor should be placed between the data pin of the ESP8266/ESP32 and LED strip to protect the first LED from spikes. The WLED wiki recommends a resistor as low as 62 Ω but if you use a level shifter, there is no need for a resistor. I have always opted to use just the level shifter without a resistor and haven't experienced any issues so far. What LED strip voltage is best for WLED?
