About this deal

Learning letters can be confusing for many preschoolers, the squiggly lines don’t have much meaning for young children. Think of all the other things in their little worlds that are more exciting than letters – technology, television, toys, nature. You’ll need to motivate young children first, before they can start learning letters of the alphabet. Netleaf trees have a variety of useful purposes other than being used as a source of good quality wood. Young Laura Bradshaw, heir to Bradshaw Shoes, writes a poem and stuffs it in a tree for later retrieval. Young Isaac Campbell, heir to the competition - Campbell shoes, finds the poem, and writes a letter in response, and leaves it in place of the poem.

This is a story of a secret friendship turned into forbidden love. I loved the 1920s New York setting and all the descriptions of the decade including fringe dresses, prohibition and the Brooklyn Zoo. This is a slower paced story but it flowed effortlessly. The letter writing was my favorite part of this story! I love the concept of two people falling in love over letters. With so many obstacles in their way, I loved how both main characters came together to solve the mystery over their feuding families. What a beautiful story of a young boy and girl growing up friends, then ripped apart by their families’ feud.Laura a 21 year old who has been kept from the world. Writing letters at young age to stranger. And loving the zoo and reading books. Since the tragic death of her mother. Laura father is has become a stranger in the home. Only caring about money. Hatred towards his former business partner the Campbell’s. Laura’s father will do anything to over power them. Even have Laura only date a whom he sees profitable. Isaac Campbell is a sought-after bachelor who just wants to feel useful and needed. But his father continually pushes him toward a life of leisure and entertainment.

You’ve Got Mail meets Romeo and Juliet in the decadence of the 1920s. I haven’t read many books in this time period, and I liked the details that were woven in. The author balances the romance and the deeper storyline in the perfect way to keep me invested in the story. I truly enjoyed this story and how special books and writing were to each of the main characters. As someone who shares that passion, it touched my heart and made me feel especially close to them.We will take a look at a wide variety of tree species beginning with N, looking at their unique characteristics and what they are most commonly used for.
